An SMT (Surface Mount Technology) line process automates the assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). It sequentially involves applying solder paste via a stencil, inspecting the paste, automatically placing surface-mount devices (SMDs), melting the paste in a reflow oven, and inspecting the finished solder joints.
